Lilian's passion for fitness began with a simple desire: To reduce her vast hips. Around the age of nine, she became uncomfortable with this prominent part of her body when even strangers in her home country of Nigeria began to comment on its size. After she had her babies in her early 20s, she decided to do something about this 'problem' at last. As the journey of daily running and weight lifting and all whatnot began, Lilian soon discovered how much she enjoyed working out. Her hips shrank, quite all right, and she went from a size 22 to 10 in less than a year, but she also realised that it was more about keeping fit and healthy than about burning fat. For over 20 years, Lilian, a certified fitness coach, at different times in Nigeria ran a successful women-only gym, organised health and fitness workshops, and served as a personal trainer to a number of women, especially those who for various personal reasons (usually related to culture, status, or husbands' expectations) were unable to join a public gym. She also hosted a TV show on general wellness, teaching how to create balance physically, mentally, emotionally, sexually, and spiritually. In 2019, she moved to the United States to be with her children who were studying in the country. She currently teaches a dance routine she created with African drumbeats, which focuses on toning different parts of the body, and is eager to share her journey and all she has learned with people around the world, through her Dichefit Daily tips.
