Princess Silhouette is about to marry Horace, her long-time dolphin friend. And once she marries, she will become the next Queen of Dolphin Grotto, an oceanic kingdom in desperate need of a ruler. However, enemies stand in her way:
First and foremost: Ivor, the evil sorcerer eel, magically teleports her to the mysterious swamps, where she meets a seemingly-friendly dolphin who offers to help her escape.
Second: a gang of alligators patrol the swamps, to make sure that she doesn't leave.
And third: Vernon Cosly, a broken man forever bitter with Silhouette. Learning of her royalty and betrothal, he becomes blinded by anger... so much so that he strikes a dangerous deal with Ivor, allowing the monster to use him as a means to deceive the princess in her quest to return to Dolphin Grotto.
In this race against time, will Princess Silhouette find her way back home, before she succumbs to the treacherous waters that hold her prisoner? And how long until she discovers Vernon's unforgiving act?
