Beau Braun has been a police officer for over two decades serving the city he grew up in. As he nears retirement, most of his spare time, aside from being a prepper, is spent with his loving wife on their property well outside the city he serves and protects. A routine run turns into anything but routine when in the blink of an eye all electronics cease to function. Beau has a good idea what has happened, but now he is faced with the daunting task of trying to make it home to where he prays his only son, with a new family of his own, will meet them to ride out the societal collapse he knows is coming.
