ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions have been implemented by most of the Fortune 500 companies since the early 1990s. Major providers include Oracle and SAP. In this book we explore the success factors of ERP implementations and comment on post implementations and the interweaving with new technology (the 4th wave 'IT Everywhere). We look at the effect of these implementations on business processes, business strategy, the people who work in organisations and the roles they play.
