Life can be a struggle sometimes. The struggle can come from the choices that are made or the lifestyle that a person was born into. What are your "Streets?" Is it shame from a painful experience? Is it some of the things you've indulged in, knowing or unknowingly, that you should not have gotten involved with? Is it that you have the prestige, yet you do not know how to stay in a committed relationship? Sometimes we, as people, can have it all together in one area: school, success, reputation...and then not have it together at all, in another area of life. Dealing with trauma can leave a person in survival mode-or it can push someone to try harder until they begin to see permanent change! As time progresses, the question may eventually be, "What am I missing?" This sometimes happens because sex, recreational drugs, partying, or going from relationship to relationship does not do it for them any longer. It is a knowing or a feeling that there must be more to life than this. It is a longing for change to occur! Although many may not know how to get on the path or even where to start, just know that there is a reference point of greatness that can only come from God. There is greatness in each and every one of us, you just have to make the choice to forgive your past and those that may have hurt you in order for you to move forward.
