Lina, a young girl from a single-parent home embarks on an expedition to find a mysterious creature that attacked her friend Zach in the wooded depths of the town park. In the process, Lina is transported to the fantastical world of Woodland where she meets Ronan, a boy on a journey of his own. Lina decides to help him in a quest to find his father, whom Ronan believes is being held captive by the town's chancellor. Now, with their lives on the line, Lina must hatch a desperate plan or stand to lose everything.
