Stanley is a lonely stinkbug who cannot seem to fit in, at his school, the St Galgani's School for Insects. Every time he gets nervous he FLAARPS and lets out a huge cloud of putrid, green odour!
With this problem on his hands, he has no idea how he is going to ask his crush, Iris Papilio Ulysses, a beautiful and remote butterfly, to prom, as he only admires her from afar.
Feeling down one afternoon, he has a strange conversation with the school janitor who gives him some mysterious advice about how to find answers to his life questions of how to fight bullies, gain courage, identify true friends, and learn how to love who you truly are.
In a strange twist of fate, the janitor embarks Stanley and his friend Valerie, who is also a stinkbug, on an epic quest. Stanley and Valerie get caught up in this bizarre adventure that changes their lives forever.
