In a whirlwind of fate and flour, Skyler Drewitt finds himself in a cookie baking class at the Halloween-themed and supposedly haunted café, Boo-kies & Scream.
His only reason for being there is his friend's persistence that he find a hobby, along with the gift certificate that happens to include an unfairly attractive instructor. Despite being immediately drawn to the gorgeous pastry chef, Oran, Skyler feels utterly hopeless. He's terrible in the kitchen and will only serve to make a fool of himself...Until he discovers that the two men share the exact same tattoo in the exact same location. Skyler can't help but feel even more drawn to him, now convinced that fate has brought them together and soulmates may be real after all. Especially with the increasingly strange bouts of déjà vu he randomly gets only around Oran.
Skyler realizes he's rapidly falling in love with Oran, even if the man is a little peculiar and his obsession with all things ghosts is a little strange.
