Gathering Of 'The Tails' is the first of the East Field Tales series, following the life and times of Ernest Doodles and Caramac Bluecross, two rather bemused ponies. The story begins upon the start of their new adventures at East Field. During their first 6 weeks, they befriend the field cat, George - a rather wise black and white feline with a weakness for fresh fish and, a refusal to eat mice. East Field Tales is authored by A. J. Ryder, about her two ponies. It is aimed at pony-mad children of 12+, as well as light reading for adults that are young at heart. This book has been published to raise funds and awareness to the animal re-homing charity, Blue Cross.
