The Maryknoll Sisters were founded in 1912 by Mother Mary Joseph Rogers. They lived out their vocations in various forms of ministry, including medicine, communications, education, and spiritual formation. The Maryknoll Sisters edited the Treasure Box children's book series in the 1950s.
