The author was born in a little town called Santa Margarita, California in 1940. Born with strabismus, an eye condition commonly known as wondering eyes, he was denied depth perception and clean bathroom visits. That gave his mother a superficial reason to torment him, mentally and physically. The abuse was tortuously severe, by both parents, and for various reasons. Denied the maternal and paternal Love that is necessary for the healthy growth of any human being, cemented the author into a life of incarceration, that began with him running away from his home of horror at age seven, landed in the juvenile hall shortly thereafter, and from there to various prison institutions. He was committed to a life in prison without the possibility of parole. At this point in the author's life, circumstances were horribly cruel, leaving the reader in the uncomfortable state of hopelessness. At the height of cruelty, hopelessness and helplessness, something unexpected and surprising happened that turned this true story around into that of happiness, bliss and religious awakening. After the unexpected turn-around of the events, the author became a pastor, and was released from jail. The author died before realizing his dream of publishing his story and sharing with the world the long list of people whom God brought into his life to allow him the joy and pleasure of receiving the love, compassion, joy, happiness, and acceptance in replacing that which he was robbed of as a child. The Editor, Ms. Sherri Hentin, befriended the author, while ministering in her California community and felt that his message should not die with his passing. In her exercise of loyalty to her friend and his message, she ensured that no facts stated by the author were changed, deleted or added to. This is a true story.
