God's Gift to Us - Christmas
depicts the orchestration of events of the first Christmas-Joseph's obedience, Mary's reverence, the shepherd's witness, the wise men's perseverance, and much more-that fulfilled God's promise, changing world history.
Each of the sixty-three vignettes of the first Christmas is written in rhyme, followed by a spiritual application, also written in rhyme, and includes relevant passages from Scripture. These stories/poems include everything associated with the first Christmas from prophesy to promise fulfilled and everything in between, such as wonderment, political leaders, blessings. The vivid, descriptive imagery allows each story/poem to stand alone from one another. When read together, all lend a richer, more vibrant rendering of one of the most significant events in world history and in the Christian faith in particular.
