This book is dedicated to campesinos (farm workers), especially the many Latinas I have known who worked in the fields and obtained university degrees, medical and dental, and other healthcare certifications. And I applaud the parents who worked in the fields for years to support their children so that their daughters and sons would not have to work there. There are many examples that I could mention. Let me give you one. Anjelica Reyna Mora has a degree from Washington State University with a sociology major. She worked in the fields with her mom, Rafaela Alcala, and Raul Alcala, her Tio, uncle. Anjelica is also a licensed massage therapist whose treatment provided pain relief and post-surgery recovery to me and other people. This book is dedicated to all the farmworkers who are resilient and have the "!Si Se Puede!" spirit.
