Far from civilization, on a forgotten island battered by the elements, Ka'viir has been imprisoned, tormented by a wicked sorceress for years on end. Of the many races of Coradova, none is as mysterious or as feared as the shapeshifting Rivian --- beholden not even to their own physical forms, but only the magic coursing through them. Ordium, a naturally magic-sapping metal, is the only way to keep them in check. When a new party intervenes, rescuing Ka'viir from captivity, a chain of events is set into motion that will affect all of Coradova. Can Ka'viir rise up to defend a world that shuns him?
