If you have never built anything, then by all means give this project a try. You'll find the project straight forward, easy, and fun! If you are a novice woodworker then this project is a great way to practice your woodworking or hone up your skills. NO PRIOR WOODWORKING SKILLS REQUIRED! This is one project that will not break the bank and give you years of enjoyment. It's heavy enough to withstand a good wind too! The 2x4 Garden Bench uses basic carpentry skills. It's fast to construct and easy to maintain. For those more seasoned woodworkers or DIY enthusiasts you may find yourself making multiple ones for friends and family.
