Are you loving others more than you show love to yourself? Why? Are you present? Meaning feeling what you feel, acknowledging what you feel, or are you just making it through life day by day." I Am the Seed is a timeline of how Juanita maneuvered through life, not being present or acknowledging the pain that she still carried around from growing up in an abusive household. She soon found herself being in abusive relationships and repeating the cycles that she learned in her childhood. The biggest question in her life became, how could she break the cycle of abuse? The death of her mother allowed her to see the world differently. Although, the path of healing went from self-examination, to identifying abuse, to finding faith, loving and forgiving herself: reading the bible and reestablishing her relationship with God was the biggest path taken to finding her true power from within.
