What did you do?
A true measure of a person is seeing their actions when facing a bully, racism, or other social injustice. For me, that date was November 8, 2016. That is the day the United States elected a racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobe whose slogan is "America First", but who truly only cares about himself. A petulant child and snowflake, the moron-in-chief inspired me to write down my thoughts on what would make an ideal America not just for the entitled few, but for everyone. This book talks about my thoughts on various critical topics and how our current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. (or more precisely, our current resident at 1100 S Ocean Blvd.) falls short in meeting the needs of Americans. While the book features a lighthearted attempt to run for president, the ideas and thoughts on policy are anything but lighthearted. So, what did I do? I went to protests, I became more outspoken, I encouraged voter registration, I wrote this book.
