The Independent Horsemanship Riding Academy Discipline and Manners has been revised to be user friendly for beginner through intermediate students featuring I B Hoofinit the 'take home' lesson horse.. Discipline and Manners explains the importance of a well disciplined horse and the rider's responsibility in maintaining good behavior. Also included are twenty-five descriptions of various disciplines of riding as well as some popular careers in horsemanship. The first part of each chapter provides a 'Lesson' followed by comments from I B Hoofinit a fictitious horse character. I B Hoofinit's comments give the student the horse's perspective in an original approach to horseback riding instruction. Discipline and Manners is an important part of the Independent Horsemanship Riding Academy course to teach students that horsemanship consists of discipline on the horse, of discipline on the rider and of the many different riding disciplines available to students.
