This collection/anthology will contain three sections of poems that elaborate on the questioning of the teachings and characterization of stoicism and minimalism and dive into that cornerstone of curiosity and compulsion within the upbringing of a young developing mind in today's society. Each section will have its narrative centered around the art of philosophy and the conflicts and tension it could bring to life. Breaking down the conflict behind awareness, and sometimes not being able to be true to yourself, while being caught between a crossfire of the heart and mind when it comes to intertwining with your inner emotions and figuring out who you are. Each poem's structure will deeply give insight into how some theories from the works of Socrates, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, and other stoic philosophers are not only as helpful and well thought out as they deemed them to be, but also how they could also be just as vague and diminishing to the nature of who we are and how we've developed today.
