Are churches providing services and tools to rid people of their suffering?
All over the world, Christians go to church looking for answers to life's most pressing questions and problems. Unfortunately, most churches only provide a biblical reference, prayer and anointing. Churches, for the most part, do not teach practical applications that believers can apply to their daily lives.
In his first book, "Is Church 'as is' Really Enough?" Jeffrey V. Noble points out how traditional thinking has retarded the growth of most Christians. He feels that if churches are following the example of Jesus Christ, then they should develop and prioritize an intentional ministry of healing to relieve the suffering of its people.
In a survey sent to over 250 people, 92.6% of the respondents stated that church is not enough.
Noble invites congregations, as a whole, to RENEW THEIR MINDS and church leadership to teach the application of the scriptures. Chapter 8, "A Message To Church Leadership," lays out a bulletproof argument for providing an intentional healing ministry.
