Co-directors Jon Erwin and Brent McCorkle tell the story of a '70s revival movement that brought together countless Christians in Southern California. With an unstable family, Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) heads to California, seeking to change his life. He meets preacher Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie) and pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) whose church accepts struggling young Christians.
