This collection is composed of oral and written histories about the settling of North Florida. The stories are by descendants of those settlers. The history is primarily about Lafayette County, but because Lafayette, Madison, Taylor, and Dixie Counties were carved from Jefferson County, Florida, many stories encompass those counties as well.
