The device will automatically start at a low level, which is ideal for your first microdermabrasion session. Depress the button again to increase the suction up to medium and then high levels. Depressing a fourth time will turn the device off. Pull the treatment area tightly. If starting at your cheek for example, pull the skin tightly with one hand toward your ear. With the unit on the lowest setting, place above your jaw and sweep in a short, upward motion. Lift off your skin at the top and replace it again at the jaw and sweep up again, making no more than two to three short passes. Check your filter periodically if using over larger areas.
