Jesus came so that his joy would be in us, and our joy would be full. That joy lives in our hearts, but it is worked out, enjoyed, and multiplied in feasting and festivals that honor God. The Bible is a book that starts in a garden and ends at a feast. Festivals and feasting highlight its pages. Sadly they don't often highlight the lives of Christians. This book aims to remedy that by developing a robust theology of festivity and guiding Christians in what it looks like to live lives of festive joy.
