Machete Williams: A Book of the Array follows the story of a boy named John Smith, who, after a series of unfortunate events, moves to Ireland with his mother. There, he meets the enchanting beauty Caitriona Donovan, who teaches him about a religion known only as the Array, where those that practice learn to manipulate the arrays of atoms that construct life. She shows him that the world is immensely more complex than what most people believe and almost anything is possible. They fall madly in love. But John's seemingly perfect life in Ireland unravels when Caitriona is captured on video shape-shifting, and the town brands her a witch. As John's life descends into chaos, he makes choices that awaken an angry and vengeful God from a two-thousand-year slumber. Now, he must use skill, faith, and the education Caitriona bestowed upon him to battle humans and beasts alike to try and save what's left of humanity.
