Excerpt from Methods in Metallurgical Analysis
IN this volume are brought together those methods in metallurgical analysis which, owing to their fitness, seem to have been most generally adopted in American metallurgical lab oratories. The procedures are given for the sake of clearness in as direct statement as possible, without regard to literary style.
Explanatory notes have been introduced where they are most needed by the beginner, but are so subdued as not to annoy the experienced reader who may wish to omit them.
