Grady is rewarded with a promotion for his dogged effort to bring a murderer to justice (Miss Lucy's Ghost, Jamey Hart Series Vol. 1). His new job as county detective starts with a peeping tom and a UFO. Things pick up in a hurry with a kidnapping, the hit and run killing of a young boy, a murder, and a hunt for a most wanted with Marshal Linc Moore. All this is unbelievable for a quiet place like Cypress county, but there's something else that's so evil that Miss Lucy says "Don't Tell Jamey."
