While this is a book of poetry and prose, it is also philosophical in nature. Perhaps, not as "classical philosophy" or metaphysics, the writings explore many aspects of life deeply. With artistic diversity, this book's writings explore life as understood as well as its perplexities. As much as they explore life, they examine what's left in its absence also. More so, nature, mysteries, love, introspection, human desires, observations, optimism, pessimism, realism, and the best and worst of human nature, are among the subjects touched. Others include subjects that are rarely portrayed in poetic forms of these sorts. As mentioned in the preface, most of this book is written figuratively. Taken prima facie, the interpretations of many of the literary pieces in it will yield exceedingly insufficient construable concepts as they are meant to be conveyed, if at all, anything meaningful. As an author, I have maintained authenticity in writing style. My poems and prose are combinations of archaic and modern writing styles with a substantial delineation from existing conventions-past and present. The influences that guide my compositions were not much of classical poets or poems. However, my writing style and systematic prosody are largely influenced by my familiarity with domains and text that are almost exclusive of poetry, except for hymnody.
