At 7:45, I was across the street from the school. I kept running, not wanting to be late. Then, the bell rung. "Oh no!" I thought. I didn't even look both ways and I ran across the street; without realizing a blue car was speeding towards me. I had a little time to process everything. The voices, the taste of the blood, the sounds of sirens, and the ground began to get dimmer. I felt as if I were floating. I closed my eyes and gave a deep exhale. Then, I felt nothing.
