I wrote this book for the school counselors who stood at my vendor tables and said that they needed books for children who have experienced great grief with the loss of a parent or grandparent. Grief is not a subject I write about but I do now. Thank you for stretching me and taking me out of my comfort zone to bring comfort to others who are striving to determine and define a new comfort zone. I trust that this and other stories will bring strength, courage and hope to children everywhere to move forward and face the future with the fight to conquer the fear and rise victorious. Let's go!
