Primal Scream is a Scottish rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie and Jim Beattie. The band's current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes, Martin Duffy, Simone Butler, and Darrin Mooney.
Screamadelica is now considered a seminal work, appearing in countless lists of top albums ever made and one of only 21 chosen for BBC4's series on the making of classic albums.
