On the Brink: A Trio of Genres is a literary fiction book, featuring three unique, totally different short stories: (1) Chapter & Verse (science fiction) probes the consciousness of a cloistered monk who interacts with his computer in resolving his doubts about Gods existence versus his love for science.; (2) I.C.Y. (fantasy) draws on the imagery of the fashion world, relating a seamstress's daydreams of being a fashion model in Paris; (3) Tee, Hee, Hee (horror) unravels the twisted thoughts of a grade school teacher, whose hate for nearly everyone eventually destroys her.
