Gen Taylor is a sixteen-year-old girl from Michigan traveling with her family of eight throughout the world on dangerous mission trips through an organization named Value His International. Her family's goal is to help the poorest, most remote villages of the world while shining Christ's love. Gen is in love with being a missionary, but one day in Cameroon, Africa, Gen and her family fall into an adventure that they never expected - one that may separate their family forever.
