This exercise book is a supplement to Optimization, written by the same authors. An earlier Swedish version (2008) included exercises. This edition of Optimization: Exercises has the original exercises plus a substantial number of new exercises. Most have detailed solutions; many have short answers. The book includes questions in the areas of linear programming, network optimization, nonlinear optimization, integer programming and dynamic programming. Also included is use of the solver in Excel and the modeling language AMPL.
