Dolenz
isn't performing only with the orchestra -- they're accouterments to a rock band that is quite prominent on such old
Monkees
hits as "A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You" and "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone." This may come as a disappointment to anybody listening to
in hopes of
doing a full orchestral effort, but the album nevertheless is a good showcase for
's skills as a song-and-dance man. He's happy to dig through his catalog, he likes to ham it up for the audience, and his energy never fails, which is why the record is fun for fans who have stuck with
