"Philosophy and Polytheism" is Volume 2, Number 2 (Summer 2016) of the
Walking the Worlds
journal. Philosophy was born in the world of ancient polytheisms and was their crowning intellectual achievement before being co-opted and corrupted in the service of monotheism. A growing movement within contemporary polytheisms seeks to reclaim philosophy as the conceptual articulation of polytheistic experience and to foster the reemergence of diverse wisdom traditions. This issue features contemporary philosophers working at the nexus of theology, modernity, and the history of philosophy.
