Body parts in a shark tank aren't the usual, even for the NYPD. But as Halloween approaches, Detective Luke Preston and Lieutenant Leroy Porter are confronted with exactly that at the local aquarium.
The resulting media scandal ropes in Julia Stone, the woman Luke is planning his future with, and the discovery of more body parts brings in even more unexpected but welcome allies. Case in point: Dr. Michelle Jenkins, the gorgeous male veterinarian who has Leroy enthralled from the get-go.
But steamy nights don't solve a case, and a blackout leaving the city in the dark doesn't help either. The deeper Luke and Leroy dive into the crime, the stranger it gets.
