made a series of recordings for small labels during 1973-79. This LP features him interpreting a dozen classic songs by one of the most underrated of all songwriters,
Harry Warren
. Highlights of the solo set include
"Nagasaki,"
"Lulu's Back In Town," "With Plenty of Money and You" and "Lullaby of Broadway," but all dozen tunes (which clock in between 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes) are given favorable treatment by the brilliant, underrated swing pianist. ~ Scott Yanow
