is a haphazard collection of unspecified tapes that

apparently recorded near the end of his life. No
Young
recording is worthless, but this is certainly not among his better work. His playing is rough and spotty, as is the work of the supporting band. Furthermore, the tapes are hissy and rough, making it difficult to listen to the collection, and the lack of information about the origins of these sessions is particularly frustrating. Therefore, only hardcore Pres collectors -- the kind that don't mind doing a bit of detective work -- should seek this out. ~ Leo Stanley
