Reconnaissance and Energy Visualization, Second Edition is a friendly science book about IR Reconnaissance in Vietnam and the role Infrared Energy plays in global warming. There is an energy transformation when high frequency radiation from the sun warms the earth and gives off thermal radiation in the form of heat and lower frequency infrared radiation which would dissipate in the atmosphere according to the first law of thermodynamics and conservation of energy. However, there are greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere such as carbon dioxide molecules that heat up and force the IR radiation back down to earth causing global warming and climate change. The Paris Climate Accord suggests zero carbon emissions by 2050. President Biden proposes the auto companies manufacture 50% of their new vehicles to be non polluting battery powered cars by 2030. According to the 2nd law of thermodynamics a real process such as global warming is not reversible. A glacier going down a mountain can not go back up the mountain. A green clean air driving machine that operates like a tree and takes in carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen is proposed for a design competition. The world needs more trees and the forest fires are consuming trees much faster than we can plant trees.
