Drawing upon her experiences, Enedina Marquez reflects on life and the state of the world around her in this thoughtful, deeply personal collection of poetry.
About the Author
Enedina Marquez began her admiration for poetry as a little girl while living in Morelia, Mexico. She’s always loved to write, and it comes to her naturally.
Marquez moved to San Francisco in her early twenties after marrying her husband. From there, she started her journey to become a US citizen. She learned to write and read English by reading books and the newspaper. She has a passion for reading and learning about world history, poetry, and art. She also loves gardening and cooking.
After the death of her husband of 57 years in December of 2017, Marquez wrote poetry to help her cope with the loss. She loves and misses her husband dearly. She has five children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
