A middle-aged man dies while returning from the bar. He discovers that he had been reincarnated in another world. First, he is a white blob and then later he is placed inside a marionette. His creator soon disappears after giving him or rather her the name Willow. Willow is left to explore the Underworld on his own. With some guidance from the thing, he calls Voice, Willow was able to develop and grow.
