"Saga of the Beverage Men" is a pretty straightforward tale. A vanquished evil sorcerer has caused a dirth of beer to lure his alcoholic vanquisher into a trap, using the legendary Beer of the Gods as bait. You know the one. It's hidden where only the wise might find it, guarded such that only the cunning might take it, and coveted such that only the strong might keep it. That one. What he didn't count on was his vanquisher having retired from the hero business, and a group of colorfully psychotic lunatics coming instead. On top of that, a ruthless conqueror has risen from beyond the edge of the world, with his ever-growing army in their fleet of flying ships, to lay siege to the people of Europe and steal their cheese. After that, it kind of gets a little weird.
