Established in 1872, Yellowstone is America’s first national park and sits at the heart of the only remaining region in the Lower 48 states that contains all of the free-roaming, iconic mammals on the continent: wolves, elk, bison, grizzlies, and countless species of birds. For the park’s 150th anniversary, Mangelsen has opened his vault of stunning photographs from every corner of the 2.2 million acres that make up Yellowstone and the adjacent Grand Teton.
