The Overcomer Series is Volume 3 of a continuing curriculum series highlighting Old Testament characters who faced great challenge and adversity as they fulfilled their unique calling to advance the Kingdom of God in their generation. Already adopted for use on the mission fields of India, this curriculum has been translated into five Indian languages and has proven to be a valuable discipleship tool in equipping the emerging churches and the training of its leaders. The three volume storying curriculum along with the Curriculum Guide that accompanies it offer several months of study and are designed to deepen the reader's understanding of the application of lessons and principles modeled through the lives of each Bible character. The three volume series is rapidly becoming a valuable resource in equipping readers to become present day servants of the Most High God with the hope of making lasting impact for the cause of Christ in our present day generation. Mary Ann Bishop is a Bible teacher, recording artist, conference speaker, and missionary. She and her husband David have worked for years in China, Vietnam, Laos, Turkey and the nation of India bringing hope and help to those in need of the gospel. Mary Ann travels to India with teams of women twice a year training church planters and pastors through the storying method set forth in her three volume curriculum series called Servants of the Most High God. David and Mary Ann reside in Pawleys Island and are the parents of two children, Wesley and Elizabeth. They are the proud grandparents of their first grandchild, Lily Jones Bishop. Bruce Chandler teaches art classes, paints commissions as well as local and historical landmarks for prints. Bruce also paints murals for residences, churches and businesses, the largest of which is 79 feet long and located in Douglas Airport, Charlotte, North Carolina. The highest paintings are located in numerous Super Wal-Mart stores, and the most humorous can be found in a Litchfield, SC beach house. Bruce has illustrated four books, been featured in Craft and Design Magazine, and designed a painting for the cover of Seabreeze Magazine.
