Follow the adventures of Sheila the shark on her first day at school in this entertaining book for children by Cheurlie Pierre-Russell.
Five years after her arrival into the ocean, Sheila's first day at the big sea school has finally arrived and she's excited and fearful at the same time. Excited because she's about to explore a whole new world and meet a bunch of new people and maybe make a few new friends.
She's also fearful because it means she would have to leave her caring mother and her adorable little brother for long stretches of time. She had never been away from her family and she was with them all the time, but today, she was going to spend a whole day without them and stay in Ms. Neat's classroom instead!
How would she fare? Would she be able to adapt? Would she make new friends? Will she discover the joy of learning new things and getting along with others? You'll soon find out!
Treat your kids to a wonderfully exciting first-day-at-school story! With lucid and wonderful images and flowing, easy-to-read prose, Sheila the Shy Shark is a storybook that belongs on the nightstand of every child and will teach them important, personality-shaping life lessons such as overcoming shyness and fear, the importance of confidence, expanding your comfort zone and more.
