They soon find it takes more than a killer vinyl collection to survive in a city that doesn't give AF.​Once driven by their garage band, Carla and Pete are sidelined by life's demands and weighed down by emotional limitations. Carla endures monotony as a TV extra, while Pete, grappling with societal views on bisexuality, answers phones. Despite their mutual affection, Carla feels rejected. Pete, hiding his identity struggles, shies away from intimacy. Their world of vinyl and used books, offers fleeting connection. The unexpected arrival of a charismatic stranger shakes their fragile status quo, forcing them to face faded ambitions and the true nature of their relationship.​
