Young mother Laura (Andi Matichak) suddenly finds herself thrust into a parent's deepest fear when her son David (Luke David Blumm) becomes the victim of a botched abduction attempt. Yet the unsettling event is merely the first in a series of increasingly traumatic experiences as the boy endures an inexplicable illness, resulting in David's eventual psychosis.
