How did you respond? I am sure you swiftly moved your eyelid and perhaps suddenly applied your hands to protect it from getting into your eyes. Similarly, the senses of the spirit need care and protection but we can only give them attention through the God consciousness which in turn influences the self consciousness and mortal or physical consciousness. A lot of vices come to interrupt our spiritual well-being and they come mostly through the two gate ways- the heart and the mind. You are a spirit-filled being who should be sensitive to the senses of the spirit.
