From their haven, The Golden Citadel, located outside of time, the Time Runners contend with the Dark Runners and their methodical, vengeful leader, Dextor.
Led by Michael Spades, the Time Runners jump dimensions and eras to prevent Dextor, others and even natural "glitches in time" from bending time to their will and destroying it in this process.
